Self Esteem For Woman

Women are typically harder on themselves than men. They often feel very lonely and depressed, and are overly critical of their own appearance. Unfortunately, these bad feelings often build up and eventually explode, causing a wave of bad emotion to flood over the female.

The key to self esteem for woman begins with you believing in yourself. You need to understand what is causing you to be so critical of yourself. Many women look at others and try to compare themselves. You need to recognize when you are doing this and stop it. When you recognize this happening, just say to yourself, “Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I am as pretty as she is,” and then list off some of your positive traits.

You also need to identify problems in your life that are causing stress in your life. Stress can cause a number of problems on your body and can actually cause health problems. The best way to build self esteem for woman and reduce stress is to make a list of the biggest sources of stress in your life. What is causing you pain? Is it your job? Your husband? Your friends? It may seem like these problems can’t be fixed, but they can - just not always easily. But isn’t your health worth it?

To help reduce stress, list out several goals and positive traits about yourself. Read over them, and keep them in your purse at all times. When you feel the need to break down or you feel overwhelmed, look over this list and remember to be strong. This will not only help build self esteem for woman, it will help you when you feel depressed and at your lowest points. Remember…just stick through it, because you can do it!
